G7 ministers warn of new anti-Russian sanctions over Donbass
MOSCOW, Apr 24 (PRIME) -- G7 states are ready to introduce new sanctions against Russia over the situation in the Donbass region in case Moscow’s actions require this, G7 foreign ministers said in a joint communique on Tuesday.
The duration of economic measures connected with the situation in the Donbass region directly depends on the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements, the ministers said.
“These sanctions can be rolled back only if Russia truly fulfills its commitments, but we also stand ready to take further restrictive measures should Russia’s actions so require,” G7 said.
G7 comprises Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K. and the U.S.
